Staying Visible Between Print Editions

We are very excited about our next printed edition coming out April 30th, and we truly appreciate the businesses that support local print advertising. Print is still one of the best ways to build name recognition and credibility in a community, and we are proud to be bringing the printed edition back each month.
But we also want to talk about something that is becoming more and more important for businesses, staying visible between print editions.
Advertising Is About Being Seen Consistently
One of the most important things to understand about advertising is that it usually doesn’t work from just one ad or one appearance. Advertising works from consistency and repetition.
People are busy. They see hundreds of business names every week. The businesses they remember are the ones they see over and over again, not just once in a while.
That’s where digital advertising comes in.
Digital helps businesses stay in front of customers between printed editions so their name is still being seen throughout the month.
Different People See Advertising in Different Ways
Some people prefer reading the printed paper.
Some people read the digital edition.
Some people see things on social media.
Some people search online when they need a phone number or service.
Most customers don’t just use one of these, they use a combination of all of them. That means the more places your business appears, the more likely people are to remember you when they need your product or service.
Print and Digital Work Together
Print and digital are not competitors. They are tools that work best together.
Print gives your business a strong local presence and credibility.
Digital keeps your business visible between print editions and helps reinforce your message.
When customers see your business name in multiple places, it builds familiarity, and familiarity builds trust.
Staying in Front of Customers Matters
Between now and the April 30th printed edition, people in our communities will still be:
Eating at restaurants
Hiring contractors
Buying vehicles
Opening bank accounts
Shopping locally
Calling service companies
Planning events
Making everyday buying decisions
Advertising helps make sure that when those decisions are made, your business is one of the names people remember.
Final Thought
There is no single “right way” to advertise, but one thing has always been true:
The businesses that stay visible are the businesses people remember.
And the businesses people remember are the businesses they call.
That is why print and digital advertising together can be such a powerful combination for local businesses.
